Hi, I’m Billy

A tenacious, loving, and energetic Actor.

Hey hey, I’m Billy Dean, a 37-year-old actor hailing from Kent, UK. I’m a London-born lad who’s been perfecting my craft since I was just a wee lad of 11 when I performed my first professional piece of theatre for the Naked Pony Theatre Company. I continued my journey at Lamda and even picked up some dance moves at the Deborah Capons School of Dance in Whitstable.

I’m no stranger to the stage and screen, having performed in both mediums throughout my career. I even snagged 5-star reviews from the British Theatre Guild for my performance at the Edinburgh Fringe! My local theatre group, The Lindley Players, has also entered and won numerous plays at the KDA Full Length Play Festival, thanks to my and my fellow Thespians’ winning performances.

Aside from acting, I’m a proud dad to a five-year-old son who keeps me on my toes and inspires me to never lose my sense of play. My two dogs, partner, and stunning house with an even better garden make my life complete.

I’m a lover of all things raw and creative, and that’s why I’ve picked up hobbies like blacksmithing and forestry. I even learned to whittle and mill lumber! I’m slowly restoring the woodland behind my house to offer habitats to local wildlife. My Romany Gypsy heritage has instilled a love for the outdoors in me, and I feel at peace when I’m surrounded by nature.

I’ve walked and talked among high-end houses in Golders Green and council houses with mold on the inside walls at the back end of Whitstable. I’ve learned insights and views on life from all walks of life, and that’s why I can communicate with anyone. I’ve often thought about getting into politics based on this skill, but for now, I’ll stick to acting.

I own and run an IT company as my day job, and I absolutely love it. I love showing people how computers can make their lives better, and I even remember showing my Nan YouTube for the first time. It was an incredible experience to watch her light up as she recognized people and places from the past. My Nan was always my biggest fan, and I miss her dearly. Her strength and friendly nature are values I hold dear, and I won’t let anyone take advantage of me.
